Set in the San Fernando Valley, LA County, at the height of the late 2000s economic crisis, MOTEL SAN FERNANDO tells the story of Stefanie and her day-to-day struggle to support herself and Elena, her quick-witted sister. Frustrated, yet determined, Stefanie reverts to her last option--doing the dirty work for the dirty cop, Bruce. During the course of their encounter, Stefanie finds herself caught in the middle of an international drug conflict. Playing it cool, she manages to emerge far above what she had imagined, with the prospect of a new life within reach.
