They say write what you know. What if Quentin Tarantino’s movies were just that, a reflection of his own life: an amalgamation of the events and characters from his every day? It would be a world spliced with glorious violence, vindictive mobsters and uncommon everymen.
The short plays out like a dance between “True Romance”, “Pulp Fiction” and “Reservoir Dogs” lightly seasoned with a sprinkle of all of his other works. And, like any vintage Tarantino picture, it ends with a trademark stamp of violence.
