VFF15's REEL ART PROJECT
The Valley Film Festival (VFF) is an all-volunteer non-profit arts organization that supports the education, production, and exhibition of filmmaking in L.A.’s San Fernando Valley.
Through the generosity of in-kind sponsors and the hardest working, most passionate volunteers around, VFF has been able to support the filmmaking community for over 14 years. Now, as a non-profit, the organization must prove it’s actively fundraising by receiving cash donations from individuals and corporate supporters.
We must raise $30,000 by June 30, 2015 or be fined $3K.
HERE'S HOW YOU CAN HELP:
This year, VFF is launching the REEL ART PROJECT for artists & audiences everywhere, who share our mission, to support us by creating, investing, and gifting art.
Please consider donating your time to creating an original piece of art.
•VFF will supply you with a film canister, reel, or multiple cans/reels, a permanent marker, and a form for you to describe your work
•YOU use the canister/reel as a canvas to create an original piece of art, and the provided permanent marker to sign your masterpiece
VFF intends to raise funds towards our fiscal goal by selling the REEL ART at VFF sponsored events, as well as through an online auction, such as Bidding For Good or eBay Giving Works.
Should you have any questions or concerns, please contact Tracey Adlai at tad@valleyfilmfest.com or Robert Amico at amico7r@aol.com.
